Your Organization's Letter of Intent

A Letter of Intent is a short summary of your grant request. It can be submitted via email to linda @ hughesmemorialfoundation.org (remove spaces), or by US Mail to our Mailing Address listed in the Contact Us page.

What Your Letter of Intent Should Include

Your Letter of Intent should include a summary of your project grant proposal. The letter should tell the Foundation what your group wants the grant for, what programs or services your organization will provide, who the intended audience is for your project or organization and how you will use the grant. The specifics of what needs to be included in this letter can be found on the Grant Guidelines page.

Results of the Letter of Intent

If the Foundation is interested in your grant request through your Letter of Intent, we will invite you to submit supporting documentation as needed to complete your grant request packet. The specifics of what needs to be included in this documentation can be found on the Grant Guidelines page.

Be sure that the email address "linda @ hughesmemorialfoundation.org" (remove spaces) is allowed through your spam filter in your email program.

An invitation to submit supporting documentation for a grant does not assure your organization of receiving a grant from the Hughes Memorial Foundation.
